Crystal Cruise lines will offer Bahamas only sailings this summer
Crystal is a luxury cruise line that doesn't tend to use US homeports as much as the bigger guys but it is still wonderful that they found a way to offer the Cariibean to guests wanting to cruise this summer.
Crystal said it will resume sailing in the Americas on July 3 under an agreement that will base its Crystal Serenity in the Bahamas for a series of Bahamas-only sailings that will include stops previously accessible only by private yacht. Crystal's interim CEO, Jack Anderson, said a total of 16 Bahamas Escapes seven-day cruises are planned from July to October. Passengers can embark every Saturday in Nassau or every Sunday in Bimini for the roundtrip cruises that will then sail to Harbour Island, Great Exuma, San Salvador and Long Island, he said.
All of these cruises on any of the lines listed above will require adult guests to be vaccinated. Any children under the age of 18 who have a negative PCR test result within 120 hours of embarkation. Guests might also have to meet any other requirements posted to travel to the starting point of thier cruise.
Virgin Cruise Line announced that it still plans for a July restart out of Miami and they will require all guests and crew to be vaccindated.
